I am already in Ukraine, in a city called Rivne. That's where the bus from Franfurt took me. Here, I must wait in 7 hours on my next bus to Chernivci. Doing that, I decided to find an internet cafe and write something on my blog.

Going by bus a whole day and a whole night was not that difficult as I thought. I was actually prepared for worse. We were entertained by some russian movies much of the time. Some of them were actually quite good. It was not very comfortable to sleep in the bus, but at least, I have had no neighbour, so I could use two sits. I thing I slept for a while. The night did not seem that long.

At about 10 p.m. we crossed the border to Poland. There were no pasport control there, as the border now lies inside the Schengen. At 7 a.m. the next morning we reached the border to Ukraine. It was a nice surprise to realize there were no more buses before us. We got throught in just one hour. It could probably have take some more time, but the passangers of the bus put together 5 euro each and bribed the ukranian border guards.

My bus leaves in about 3,5 hours. It will drive all the night. Let's see whether this part of the jorney is going to be as good as the previous one.

All I have left is to load my iPod with music and other staff. Then, I will shut down my computer, put it into a box and never use in the next half a year...

Может быть сегодня самое время подытожить те 18 месяцев, которые я прожил в Германии. Только вот мне кажется, я не смогу этого сделать. Слишком много всего я тут пережил. В нескольких словах всё описать не получится. А на много слов у меня нет ни желания ни времени.

Скажу только одно. Мне тут понравилось. Мне было бы гораздо сложнее уехать отсюда, если бы я знал, что это будет навсегда. Будет класно вернуться через пол года. Бесспорно, это было до сих пор самое лучшее время моей жизни.

И всё-таки я уезжаю. Что-то толкает меня вперёд, на поиски новой жизни, новых впечатлений, новых возможностей. И я оставляю всё привычное, совершенно о нём не жалея.

Временно закрывается и эта тема. Свои впечатления о жизни на Украине я стану описывать на английском, в другой теме.

Tomorrow is the day of my departure to Ukraine. At about 10:30 I take the train from Darmstadt to Frankfurt. Then, I will take a bus from Frankfurt to Rivne in Ukraine. This journey will take about 25 hours. Then, there should be a night bus from Rivne to Chernivci. So if all goes according to my original plan, I will be there at February 28 before noon.

In just a few days I intend to move to Ukraine. I will live there half a year. I am sure I will have many thoughts, reflections and impressions during that time. I will try to record them all here.

In 15 minutes the property manager comes to check whether I have cleaned up my room properly. In order to please him I did not go to bed as I got home from Sweden at 0:02 this morning. I moved the last things out of my room I was not finished until after 2 a.m. Today I got up at 8 a.m. to wash the floor. Now I am finished and can relax a few more minutes...
